Due to the inherent nature of shark behavior, precise shark positions can only be determined when they surface with their dorsal fin visible above water for an extended period. Consequently, we receive intermittent position updates from these magnificent creatures, with each transmission contributing to our expanding knowledge of their life cycle.

It is important to note that occasional inaccuracies in satellite positioning may occur, causing sharks to appear further from their actual locations. Rest assured that we meticulously rectify these discrepancies during our data analysis processes.
